For the first time ever, McLemore Club and Sweetens Cove partner to host a 2-day epic golf tournament this summer.

In the valley at Sweetens Cove and on the mountain at McLemore, “Where the Valley Meet the Sky” is a two-man tournament where each team will play for the ultimate bragging rights as winners of this new annual event. The two days of golf and competition also include nightly parties hosted by each club at Sweetens Cove and McLemore.

Since it’s official opening in 2019, McLemore Club has become a premier golf destination in the South with the well-known Highlands course ranking in the top 100 courses you can play. After a full course redesign by legendary course architects Rees Jones and Bill Bergin, McLemore’s famed 18th hole was named a top 10 finishing hole in the world and the best finishing hole built since 2000. The par 71, 18-hole course features highland & canyon style holes with no shortage of breathtaking vistas throughout the course.

There is no other golf destination quite like Sweetens Cove. The famed 9-hole track first existed as a municipal course in South Pittsburg, TN, then was reborn after the King-Collins team reimagined the course as an entirely inland links course. Borrowing architectural inspiration from some of the game’s greatest layouts, King-Collins crafted a course that is reminiscent of the “original version of Augusta National” while presenting challenging, yet fun holes that can be played repeatedly.

FORMAT

Tournament is split into two groups and groups will simultaneously play McLemore and Sweetens Cove then switch on the following day
Two man teams (must register together)
Best ball of the team per hole, stableford points
52 Hole Event, (24 at McLemore)/ (28 at Sweetens)
Must have a GHIN Handicap
Each team will play in a gross and net-score division
Shotgun start both days

Entry Fee | $900* per person

*Tournament fee includes participation in every golf activity presented in the schedule.

In addition, fee includes food & beverages at both evening parties as well as lunch and drinks throughout each round. Breakfasts at your leisure.

The tournament fee includes transportation to and from evening events. Event & tournament timing subject to change.

Cost per person does not include lodging or travel costs.
